Our story

Built after 800 homes' worth of lessons.

Hire Wet Paint, LLC — Painting Pros of South Florida was founded by our managing partner after he oversaw the painting and rehabbing of over 800 structures across North and South Carolina. When he left the home remodeling industry, he set out to build something in between: a company with the professionalism of a large contractor and the personal attention of a small one.

We take on a limited number of homes each year on purpose. You won't see our name on a bus bench or a sign-spinner on the corner — most of our work comes from referrals and word of mouth, which is exactly how we like to keep our prices honest and our craftsmanship accountable.

Every project runs on respect, integrity, and clear communication — from your first estimate call to the final walkthrough. We hope to add your home to our list of referrals.

What we paint

Interior, exterior, and everything attached to the house.

Every job starts with a full power wash and proper prep — the part of painting nobody sees but everybody eventually notices.

Interior Painting

Walls, ceilings, trim, and cabinetry — clean lines, proper masking, and a crew that respects your furniture and your schedule.

Exterior Painting

Stucco, siding, soffits, and trim built to stand up to South Florida sun, salt air, and summer storms.

  • Full power wash before every job
  • Crack sealing with siliconized acrylic caulk
  • Primer on any bare or peeling wood

Decks, Fences & Patio Covers

The outdoor structures that take the most weather damage — refinished to handle another Florida rainy season.

Field notes

Why South Florida homes fail early — and how we prevent it.

Straight from our own fact sheet. This is the prep work most estimates don't mention.

Peeling

Trim & moisture points

We scrape and sand peeling wood back to a clean edge, then seal it with a high-quality primer so paint has something real to bond to.

Cracking

Cheap caulk, constant flexing

As stucco expands and contracts, low-grade caulk fails first. We reseal with siliconized acrylic caulking — flexible enough to move with the house.

Fading & chalking

UV breaking down the resin

Florida sun degrades paint's resin fast. Sun-facing walls get an extra coat or primer for real protection, not just fresh color.

Nail holes

Small holes, slow damage

Left unsealed, nail holes pool water against your siding. We caulk them flush so moisture sheds off instead of sitting.

The process

From free estimate to final walkthrough.

The same seven steps, every time — so you always know what happens next.

  1. 01

    Free estimate & reserved spot

A 25% deposit and authorization to work locks in your place in our schedule.

  2. 02

    Color consultation call

Within two weeks of booking, we call to talk color changes, a target start date, and any concerns to sort out early.

  3. 03

    Test patches & HOA approval

1–4 weeks before we start, we paint test patches so you can confirm your color — and hand you anything needed for HOA sign-off.

  4. 04

    Pre-start check-ins

The week of the job, expect calls confirming your start date and any weather-related shifts.

  5. 05

    Power wash

Before a drop of paint goes on, the whole house gets power washed.

  6. 06

    Daily updates

We tell you when we're starting each day and talk through progress and any concerns as they come up — not after the fact.

  7. 07

    Final walkthrough

We walk the property together for last touch-ups before final payment — and we'd love your feedback and referrals afterward.

Our promise

Communication and satisfaction, backed on paper.

If prep or paint fails within the first two years, we come back and fix it — no negotiation. Done right, expect your paint job to last 5–7 years.

  • All-inclusive 2-year warranty on every job
  • Ask about 2 coats for 7–10 years of protection (+30%)
  • Full power wash and proper prep on every quote
  • General liability insurance covers the job site

Color studio

Palettes that read as South Florida, not spec-home beige.

A few combinations our clients keep coming back to for stucco exteriors — body, trim, and door. Tell us a direction and we'll bring swatches to your estimate.
